Berrynarbor is a tranquil picturesque village situated at the coastal end of the beautiful Sterridge Valley in the Exmoor National Park.  There is a twelfth century church and a fifteenth century manor house in the village. Quaint cottages and gardens awash with floral displays line the narrow streets adding to the rural charm of the village, which is a consistent winner of both "Britain in Bloom" and "Best Kept Village in Devon" competitions. A warm welcome is given to all visitors to the seventeenth century pub, ‘Ye Olde Globe’, which is very children friendly, with a fully equiped play room, or sample a delicious cream tea at Miss Muffitts Tea Room. There is also a Post Office with a shop, open 7 days a week, catering for most every day needs. Ample free parking is available near the village centre.

Watermouth Cove is within the parish of Berrynarbour, with its sheltered harbour and rocky shoreline, and is overlooked by the popular family attraction of Watermouth Castle.  The South West Coastal Path runs alongside Watermouth Cove.
